What do you like in a game? We have often wondered the same thing and have come to the conclusion that there is almost never just one thing that people like. With The Burning of Eden we mixed all of the qualities of a good scenario into one. If you like a good plotline, we have it, if you like carnage, we have it, if you like gloom and doom, we have it, etc...

Some tips:
__________________
•If you're only playing for carnage it is best to skip the first level and breeze through the early levels.
•If you're in it for realism, you've got it! This scenario is much like the first Marathon® when it comes to the plotline and the level feel. You actually feel like you are in a ship and the next door leads to miles of levels and carnage.
•Check out the wonderful artwork of Matt Schenk.
•Check the bug report (below) to avoid some unneccesary problems.
•Stay alive (duh)

Bug Report for The Burning of Eden v.2.0
Just because we spent over three months debugging The Burning of Eden doesn't mean it is bug free. However, we were able to debug most of the very bad bugs (No not the cockroaches, just the fleas). To help you enjoy this scenario to the fullest we have assembled a list of bugs that we have not been able to fix yet.

68K PEOPLE MUST READ BELOW.
We have spent a LONG time debugging all of the 68k bugs. We want EVERYBODY to get the chance to play Burning of Eden. Please run the Ignore Zero Divides application before playing to eliminate any other chance of crashing.
(Thanks a ton Pete and Roy!)

••• FIXED IN VERSION 2 !•••*In The Burning of Eden we ask that you don't play in major damage or total carnage as it may freeze up your machine. WAIT! before you say, "Forget this," listen to what we have to say. If you love carnage and believe you have to play in major damage or total carnage don't worry. We have created some of the later levels to be rather challenging even to a veteran marathoner. So don't skin us yet.
•••FIXED IN VERSION 2 !•••*Some of Durandal's "toys" don't always die right. If they become white don't worry it is just a small problem. This bug is small, but it does hurt the aesthetic value of the game a little.
*Before you start playing The Burning of Eden make sure to give Marathon as much memory as you can. The scenario can at times be a memory hog.
•How to avoid it? You have to give Marathon about 8000k.
*If at anytime you get stuck in a hall, try to blast your way out, before quitting. (This is a VERY small problem, don't worry too much about it)
•How to avoid it? walk on the other side of the hall maybe, this is, like it says above, a very small problem (if any at all).
